The Challenges of Growing Trees Close to Houses
The biggest concern experts had with this tree removal project was the structure’s proximity to the client’s house. Cutting it from the base and letting it fall wouldn’t be an option, as the tree could damage either the client’s home, fence, or surrounding structures.
The property owner also could not leave the tree as-is. If a storm were to knock down branches or uproot the tree, they could face severe property damage. To avoid storm damage cleanup and associated repairs, removing it was their only solution.
Benton Tree Service tackled this project by cutting the trunk from the top down. Removing it in sections kept the property safe and gave arborists greater control.
The Long-Term Benefits of Hazardous Tree Removal
Although the massive oak tree had been a longtime staple of the client’s landscape, removing it proved advantageous. The homeowner no longer has to worry about tree trimming and other ongoing tree maintenance projects. They can also enjoy more light hitting their house without a dense canopy shading it.
The yard will be free of any tripping hazards following a stump grinding service. The homeowner can either leave it as open space or add new plants to the landscape.
Benton Tree Service takes pride in performing successful tree removal projects. Their arborists are ready to help other Metairie residents experience these benefits. Call (504) 896-0820 to schedule a service near you.
